Dr. Gerhard Schaefer

Dr Gerhard Schaefer did his doctorate in Organic Chemistry at the University of Stuttgart in 1981. After gaining initial professional experience in managerial roles in pharmaceutical development, quality assurance and quality control, he held further management positions in business development with renowned companies such as Azupharma, Knoll, Stada, HEXAL and Sandoz. From 2003, Dr Schaefer served on the Board of Directors of HEXAL AG, and after the acquisition of HEXAL AG by Novartis/Sandoz in 2005 was appointed Managing Director at Sandoz International and Head of Global Product Development and Global Business Development. From 2005 to 2012, Dr Schaefer managed 11 development centres. Since 2013, Dr Schaefer has worked freelance as an advisory board member and consultant for portfolio selection and product development for pharmaceutical companies in Germany, France and Poland.

Dr. Hanns-Eberhard Erle

Dr Hanns-Eberhard Erle received his PhD in Organic Chemistry from University of Frankfurt am Main. Dr Erle looks back on more than three decades of experience working for global players of the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry. The global product supply expert worked in executive and senior management roles at Merck KGaA, Aventis Pharma AG and Hoechst AG where he held worldwide responsibility for supply, quality and production. From 2007 on, he served as Executive Vice President, Member of the Board of Merck Serono and as a Head of Global Manufacturing & Supply he was responsible for the production at 23 sites worldwide. In Vevey, Switzerland he inter alia build one of the world’s largest biotech facilties. From 2014 to date Dr Erle has been a freelance consultant.

Dr. Jürgen Regenold

Dr Jürgen Regenold studied pharmacy at the University of Freiburg and graduated with a PhD. After gaining his first professional experience in pharmacological research, pharmaceutical product development and regulatory affairs, the doctor of pharmacy founded Dr. Regenold GmbH, which specialised in development, registration and market entry in the pharmaceuticals industry and medical technology. With the global regulanet® network, the regulatory affairs specialist has established a network of independent regulatory consultants in over 90 countries.

Dr Jürgen Regenold is a member of the Entourage GmbH Advisory Board. The two companies Dr. Regenold GmbH and Entourage GmbH cooperate in the field of regulatory affairs.

Pascal Brenneisen

Pascal Brenneisen studied Law at the University of Basel and followed up with advanced studies at INSEAD, Fontainebleau, and Harvard Business School. He held international management positions in Operations, Marketing & Sales and General Management within the Novartis Group, and was responsible as CEO for the pharmaceutical giant’s Swiss business. His successful turnaround management of the Nyon plant, which secured 700 jobs through long-term investments, brought the manager widespread recognition.

Pascal Brenneisen is Director of Entourage Pharma Consulting AG headquartered in Cham/Switzerland.

Dr. Frank Böttcher

Dr Frank Böttcher studied pharmacy at the Carolo Wilhelmina Technical University in Braunschweig and obtained his doctorate there in 1994 at the Institute for Pharmaceutical Biology. Dr Böttcher can look back on many years of experience in quality control and quality assurance in various pharmaceuticals companies. Dr Frank Böttcher joined the management team of Labor L+S AG in 2003. As an authorised signatory he was responsible managing director for Quality, Sterile Testing and Chemical Analytics from 2005. Since 2013 Dr Böttcher has acted as sole member of the Board of Directors of Labor L+S AG.

Prof. Dr. Günther Schönrich

Prof. Dr. med. Günther Schönrich studied Medicine and Philosophy at Albert Ludwig University in Freiburg and graduated in 1985 with a PhD in Medicine, majoring in Cardiology. He completed his post-doc at the Institute of Immunology and Genetics, German Cancer Research Centre in Heidelberg. Mr Schönrich has in-depth expertise in the field of microbiology, virology, infection epidemiology and virus immunology. Since 2006, Mr Schönrich has been Deputy Director of the Institute for Virology (CCM) at the the Charité Universitätsmedizin Berlin.
