For one of our clients in Frankfurt we are looking for an EMR-Engineer. This position will take care of planning and managing of electrical instrumentation tags according to project needs in project Restart Fermtec as well as further projects.

  • Project engineer for electrical and instrumentation in the project team for planning, qualification and start-up of the Extension South plant
  • Responsible for the electrical equipment and instrumentation during all phases of the project
  • Supervise the involved engineering contractor and suppliers (time, budget, quality)
  • Responsible for the technical documentation (GMP, HSE, etc.) in his field during all phases of the project.
  • Responsible for a successfully qualification and start-up.
  • Reporting to the lead engineer Electrical, Instrumentation & Automation Technology


After commissioning of Fermtec:

  • Maintaining of all electrical equipment and instrumentation according to GMP, HSE and economic requirements during operation
  • Supervising maintenance contractors and suppliers (time, budget, quality) to ensure technical system availability.
  • Development of investment and maintenance concepts (including spare parts management) including necessary calculations and cost calculations to ensure technical system availability
  • Documentation of maintenance execution according to GMP & HSE requirements and to th German authorities
  • Planning of preventive maintenance actions
  • Monitoring of energy consumption and energy costs
  • 'Qualified person' in respect to the German “Betriebssicherheitsverordnung”
  • (BSV) to exercise testing activities
  • Weak point analysis of electrical and control equipment’s
  • Dealing with deviations
  • Dealing with SAP notifications
  • Studies in engineering (automation engineer)
  • Specific biotechnological technical know how (e.g. sterile technology) preferred
  • German (native in speaking and writing)
  • English (good in reading, writing and speaking)
  • 3 years experience in operations
  • 3 years experience in pharmaceutical production
  • Team player with good/excellent communication skills
  • Independent and systematic working method
